The first YouTube mashup that successfully and hilariously reframed a classic film/TV show to suit an extra style that I remember seeing was called “Shining,” and it used clever editing and a undeniable Peter Gabriel song to make the classic horror film seem like a family comedy.

Ever since, I’ve loved such a thing. With the proper music and editing, you are able to transform any piece of media into something totally different.
